A SpaceX/Dragon CRS-12 cargo craft was launched for the International Space Station today, its 12th commercial resupply services mission to the ISS.

The launch of the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft took place from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

According to NASA, the spacecraft is loaded with 2,900 kg of research, crew supplies and hardware, that include crucial materials to support the dozens of ongoing science research investigations.
