The General Workers' Union said yesterday Enemalta was jeopardising the rights of its employees' representatives by imposing conditions that hinder them from attending union meetings.

This went against the collective agreement and against International Labour Organisation recommendations that laid down that such representatives should not suffer the loss of any benefits when attending union meetings.
