Special brew comes with a bang

Celebration Brew, the fourth and last brew in the Farsons Special Brews series, will be launched at the Malta Fireworks Festival 2004 today and tomorrow at the Grand Harbour, in Valletta.

Celebration Brew has been aptly named to celebrate the tradition and rich culture of Malta.

Celebration Brew is a top-fermented beer made from pilsen type malt to give it a uniquely soft and smooth malty flavour. The special blend of German hops imparts a nicely balanced fresh hop flavour, while the top fermenting yeast gives it a delicate fruity aroma to be enjoyed throughout spring and summer.

This beer is a perfect accompaniment to a variety of meat dishes and is best served at about 120C in its own Special Brews glass, the brewery said. Farsons Celebration Brew will be available at leading outlets in Malta and Gozo.
