The 29-year-old Hungary international, who made the switch to Hoffenheim from fellow Bundesliga side Schalke three years ago, has scored 12 goals in 53 league appearances for Die Kraichgauer.
Mathis: Former Metz striker Boris Mathis has signed a two-year contract with Everton to play in their Premier League 2-winning under-23s squad. The 19-year-old, a product of Lyon’s academy who made his Ligue 1 debut in April, was out of contract this summer. “My dream is to play for the first team here. Malone: Huddersfield Town have signed their ninth player in the transfer window with defender Scott Malone joining the Premier League side from Championship team Fulham on a three-year deal, the club announced. The 26-year-old played in 42 matches last season in his first and only season at Fulham with his impressive performances earning him a spot in the Championship Team of the Year.
Mesa: Swansea City have signed midfielder Roque Mesa from La Liga side Las Palmas in a four-year deal for a fee of 11 million pounds ($14.25 million), the Premier League club said yesterday. Mesa, 28, played over a 100 matches for Las Palmas since joining in 2010 and made 35 league appearances last season as the club ended their second season in 14th place in the Spanish top tier.
Casillas: Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has announced he will remain at Porto for another season. The World Cup-winning Spaniard moved to the Portuguese club in 2015 on a two-year deal, with the option to stay for a further year. And yesterday he took to Twitter to confirm he is staying at the Estadio do Dragao.
