Over 100 teenagers recently spent a whole week at the Sports Camp 2002 organised by Savio College in Dingli and mainly sponsored by Kellogg's. It was the fifth annual edition of Sports Camp, which once again proved successful considering the growing number of participants each year. Youths practised three disciplines - football, basketball and volleyball.

Three Italian coaches were invited to join forces with their Maltese counterparts to help the boys in training sessions and during technical aspects including refereeing and first aid.

"Our only source of income for running Sports Camp is from backing we receive from sponsors such as Kellogg's who truly believe in our efforts," said Fr Paul Formosa, Director of Savio College.
