A 36-hour sports marathon will be held at the gymnasium of the Gozo Seminary on Saturday and Sunday to create greater awareness of the work of the Oasi and Arka foundations in Gozo and raise funds for their activities.

The marathon is being organised jointly by the seminary and the two foundations.

Various sports tournaments in different disciplines will be held during the marathon, which kicks off after Mass to be celebrated by Gozo Bishop Nikol Cauchi at 9 a.m.

The event will include entertainment by some of the leading local talent.

Oasi and Arka are appealing to the public to attend the marathon and make contributions.
