Brad Hindle Deguara and Diane Kellas beat Papua New Guinea duo  Lynette Vai and Junior Madako Suari 2-0 to assure themselves of a place in the Last 16 of the mixed doubles competition.

Hindle Deguara and Kellas today face New Zealand’s Joelle King and Paul Coll to see who will progress as the group winners.

Colette Sultana and Dan Zammit Lewis were beaten by New Zealand’s Amanda  Murphy Landers and Zac Millar 2-0.

They will now have to beat English pair Jenny Duncalf and Adrian Waller to progress to the last 16. 

In the women’s doubles competition, Kellas and Sultana lost to Deon Saffery and Tesni Evans, of Wales, in straight sets.

Today, they play Pakistan duo Faiza Zafar and Madina Zafar.
