Members of the police force are on their way to see whether cars found in nissen huts in Cospicua are stolen, sources said.

Personnel from the government veterinary services are also on their way to see how animals which had been kept in these huts were treated.

Squatters in nissen huts, at Sta Margharita bastions, are this morning being evicted by the Lands Department, accompanied by the police. They were served an eviction orders some weeks ago.

It seems that one of the huts is used by the Cospicua feast outside festivities committee. The squatters were given the opportunity to remove their belonging from the huts themselves.
