The name of the road is insignificant at this point in time. It is simply a very important road that has needed repair for a very long time (like the majority of our roads). I am quite sure that the need to resurface this road was on the agenda of the local council of St Julians.
Although the road is situated in a touristic area, it is also insignificant at this point; it is a very important artery used by many every day and has to be repaired immediately.
It is an absolute disgrace that any road is allowed to end up looking/feeling like steps and resembling a lunar surface.
I do not see the logic that it has to be the minister who is directly concerned with construction/repair of roads, that has to "notice" any road for that matter.
Many public functionaries have passed along this road, and one wonders what they did about it.
Frank Salt was perfectly right in bringing up this subject; I am sure that many people like him and me feel the same way.
