St Paul's Bay crash leaves 27-year-old grievously injured

Collision on Friday afternoon leaves one in hospital and five cars damaged

A 27-year-old man was grievously hurt in a St Paul’s Bay crash that left four other cars damaged on Friday afternoon.

The man, who is from St Paul’s Bay, was driving an Audi S5 on Triq it-Turisti when he collided with a Renault Megane driven by a  70-year-old Valletta man. Three other cars parked on the side of the road were damaged in the collision.

A medical team was rushed to the site and administered first aid to the injured Audi driver, who was then taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance for further treatment.

Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
