The Church of St Publius is organising an open day on Saturday and Sunday to coincide with the annual activity by the Floriana local council Ġenna ta’ Ġonna.

Visitors can admire the church’s architecture from the north steeple and see the church bells from up close.

During the event there will also be an exhibition of artificial flowers created from gold, silver and coloured threads.

On Sunday at noon, lunch will be served on the parvis on the north side of the church.

Ludwig Galea will perform live, accompanied on a keyboard by Conrad Briffa.

Entrance to any part of the church will be free of charge, but those who attend the lunch are being asked for a donation of €18 for adults and €10 for children.
