Recently I complained to the local council of Zabbar about the bad state of two roads - Labour Road and Garden Road. They have never been resurfaced for the last 25 years. They are hardly used because they are in such poor shape! As a result, most of the traffic flowing in and out of Zabbar has to pass from Hompesch Road, which has become a nightmare to drive in since the introduction of the new traffic lights system.

Following my complaint to Zabbar council, they told me that the resurfacing of Labour Road and Garden Road does not fall under their responsibility.

I am questioning whether Zabbar council is putting enough pressure on the central government so that these two roads will be resurfaced, hopefully in the near future.
