St George's Bay has a small sandy beach. It is a great pity that the three old steps at the side of the beach, frequently used by bathers to wash off the sand before putting on their shoes, have been covered by concrete.
Bathers are resorting to picking up plastic bottles from refuse bins to fill them with water to rinse their feet. Most of these bottles end up in the sea and contribute to further sea pollution.
Can we have our steps back, please?
