A Zabbar man was yesterday conditionally discharged for three years for stealing from a church and breaking into a priest's car.

Magistrate Abigail Lofaro found Amadeo Grima guilty of stealing Hi-fi equipment from the church of the Holy Cross in Zabbar, breaking into Fr Anthony Cassar's car and stealing two weighing scales from a man's house between September 12 - 30, 1999.
