A Nigerian teenager has been given a two-year jail term suspended for four years for stealing a passport and making illicit use of a forged passport.

The 16-year-old pleaded guilty to all charges before Magistrate Saviour Demicoli who noted, on handing down judgement, that the accused had filed a guilty plea and was young.

Police Inspector Mario Haber prosecuted.
