An SPCA committee member is making a heartfelt appeal to animal lovers to come forward and adopt three young stray dogs which were roaming the streets of Kappara.
Pat Valenzia said the three dogs had won the hearts of Kappara residents when they first appeared in Wied Ghollieqa in the summer.
The dogs are extremely tame and friendly. However, when school started a few weeks ago they were going up to the children to play, and while some loved nuzzling up to the big dogs, others got scared.
Ms Valenzia, who has two dogs of her own, said that a decision was taken to take the male dogs to the SPCA, because some neighbours felt they had become a nuisance.
"We are trying to home the dogs together because they are inseparable. I have become really attached to these dogs and I am willing to help whoever adopts them by neutering the dogs and even feeding them if need be," Ms Valenzia said.
Whoever wishes to adopt the dogs can call the SPCA on 2123 4431.
Animal lovers are being urged to adopt these three young stray dogs.
