Tiziana Mifsud, 17, of Ghaxaq, has been crowned the 39th Miss Malta.

The competition is organised by G.M. Productions.

Tiziana is a second year student at the Junior College and plans to study psychology at the university. She has taken part in various competitions but this is her first title. She also does a considerable amount of modelling.

Her first international commitment will be the Miss Europe competition, being held in Beirut, in December.
