The Malta Medical Students' Association (MMSA) and the Malta Association of Dental Students (MADS) held their yearly Christmas Campaign, during which around 30 students visited children who are patients at Mater Dei Hospital.

During their visit, the students entertained the children by singing well-known Christmas carols to them and they also gave each patient a present.

By holding a fundraising lottery event for all medical students, MMSA gathered a sum of money which was combined with money collected by MADS to buy the children's presents.
