Ten Maltese students will be taking part in assignments in Switzerland, London and Bratislava in the coming days.

Junior College student Claire Azzopardi is currently following a week of environmental research in Switzerland.

A group of three students - Simon Xuereb from St Edward's College, and Petra May Cortis and Stephen John Sammut, from St Aloysius College - will be travelling to London next week.

They will participate in the London International Youth Science Forum following their successful participation in the NSTF Malta Student Science Forum in collaboration with the Malta Junior Chamber of Scientists.

Another six students - Dion Scerri, a private candidate, Reuben Borg from De La Salle College, Tessa Bugeja, Keith Vella, David Borg Bartolo and Kristian D'Amato, all from St Aloysius College - will be participating in Expo Science Europe 2002 in Bratislava after their successful participation in the NSTF Contest for Young Scientists.

This was made possible through the support of the National Student Travel Foundation (Malta) and its sponsors for these activities: Air Malta, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Youth and Sports, Malta International Airport, Tug Malta Ltd, the Ministry for Resources and Infrastructure and Corinthia Group of Companies.
