Supply teachers, kindergarten assistants and learning support assistants have been directed by their union to call for work two hours late next Friday.

Malta Union of Teachers president John Bencini issued the directives during a rally this evening.

Mr Bencini said that the implementation of the reform when it came to these categories had not yet started and they were not being given what they were promised. As a result they felt deceived and unappreciated.
