Alternattiva Demokratika has called on the five MEPs representing Malta to use their vote to support the identification and phasing out of all chemicals of very high concern.

A crucial vote will be taken on chemicals legislation on November 17 as a result of the EU Commission chemicals policy review.

AD said that if the outcome of the vote is positive, manufacturers will be legally obliged to provide vital health information on thousands of chemicals for the first time.
