A 27-year-old woman from Gzira was today given a six-month jail term suspended for two years after she pleaded guilty of stealing between €700 and €1,000 in cash from Beach Emporium in Triq Gorg Borg Olivier, Mellieha.

Stephanie Micallef was also ordered to pay €700.

Police inspector Sandra Zammit prosecuted.
