Students are sweating it out and perfecting their routines in preparation for the annual Students Fest to be held next month.

"In fact, while you are reading this article we are probably on a roll, rehearsing our guts out and relocating a badly positioned follow spot," students wrote in a creative statement to the media.

Students Fest 2008 is created from the ground up by the University Students' Council's Culture and Entertainment Office together with all interested students and will be held at the University's Sir Temi Zammit Hall on April 12 and 13.

"The festival has been a yearly milestone of campus life for a record 17 years. It makes way for students to boost campus life memories, socialise and interact while drowning in entertainment, dance, music, comedy and farce," the promoters said.

This year the AV Warehouse teamed up with KSU to provide sound and light galore. YADA Dance Company will be choreographing the opening and closing scenes in which all cast will feature. Other sponsors include HSBC, Vodafone, Deloitte and Bay Radio.

Tickets cost €5 (Lm2.15) and can be purchased from all Vodafone outlets.
