Ta’ Kerċem published for parish feast

Magazine features vox pop, annual chronical, interviews and other features

Issue 105 of Ta’ Kerċem has been published to mark the feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kerċem on Sunday. The edition features a message from parish priest Brian Mejlak, along with news and articles highlighting parish and community life. It also includes interviews with newly-ordained priest Marlon Victor Bajada, Kerċem Ajax captain Andrew Mizzi and former player George Pace, a member of the club’s 1985-1986 championship-winning team, marking the club’s recent league title success after a 40-year wait.

Other features include a vox pop on priestly vocations within families, an interview with Fr Roberto Gauci on the occasion of his priesthood silver jubilee and a special feature with three children – Luke, Emma and Jake – telling what the village feast means to them.

The publication also contains the parish’s annual chronicle for 2025, including baptisms, marriages and funerals, as well as interviews with psychologist and sexologist Nicholas Briffa and Fr Martin Cilia, MSSP, who relates how to encourage and nurture priestly vocations.
