Take the bus on Saturday and contribute to L-istrina’s cause

Malta Public Transport will make a donation for every passenger trip made

Malta Public Transport is holding the ninth edition of Tallinja għal L-istrina on Saturday, December 20, once again supporting L-istrina through its long-standing collaboration with the Office of the President.

The initiative aims to raise funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF), with contributions linked to passenger journeys throughout the day.

Felipe Cosmen, chairperson of Malta Public Transport, encouraged the public to take part by choosing to travel by bus on the day.

“Using the bus on December 20 is an easy, collective act that can translate into real help for families who rely on the efforts of MCCF. We are proud to support the Office of the President and the MCCF in the best way we can” he said.

Malta Public Transport will make a donation for every passenger trip made, including journeys taken under the free public transport scheme.

The company has already contributed more than €336,000 to the MCCF since the initiative began in 2016.
