The Public Transport Association is still waiting for a reply in writing from the Malta Transport Authority (ADT) as to why the Mriehel bus lane was removed, association president Victor Spiteri said yesterday.
However, the discussions on the reform of the public transport system continued in a meeting yesterday morning which was described as "very cordial" by ADT chief executive Gianfranco Selvagi.
He told The Times on Monday that the Mriehel bus lane had had to be removed because it was not in conformity with the law.
In protest, the association has broken off talks related to changes in bus routes.
