The 1965-1967 St Michael’s Teacher Training College group of teachers celebrated their 50th anniversary with a reunion at the Seabank Resort & Spa in Mellieħa. Around 35 guests, including Br Emanuel Sciberras, attended the event, organised by Victor Sammut. A thanksgiving Mass was celebrated by Fr Joe Buttigieg, OFM. In a short speech, past president George Chase (inset) singled out the group’s achievements. Ronald Bowman and Abraham Borg took care of the readings, Emanuel Chetcuti prepared the hymns and texts and a short film by Victor Fenech brought back nostalgic memories.
