Teachers need time to adapt to the new method of teaching that will come with having all pupils using tablets in classrooms, according to the MUT.
“Teachers are still absorbing the latest educational reform, my message is: take it easy . Give teachers the time to absorb,” MUT president Kevin Bonello said.
He questioned whether the tablets were a priority, saying many teachers complained about lack of maintenance in their schools. Some did not have interactive white boards and others needed maintenance, he said.
