A teenager has admitted theft from a shop in Marsalforn and been placed under a probation order.

The police said the 17-year-old boy from Marsa was arraigned in court in Gozo on Sunday and accused of having committed the theft early on Friday.

The boy was also ordered to pay the victim €172.45 over a period of three years.
