Teenager arrested after bomb threat forces evacuation of school

The 15-year-old warned of a bomb in a school in Mosta

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after allegedly making a bomb threat, forcing the evacuation of a school in Mosta.

The police said the threat was made in a phone call it received at 9am. A male voice warned of a bomb at Mosta secondary school.

The students were evacuated and the army searched the school. Nothing was found.

The police tracked down the source of the threat, allegedly a 15-year-old Italian. Investigations are continuing.
