Koperattiva Kulturali Universitarja (KKU), in collaboration with the Precincts Office at the University, is organising a seminar on "The Art of Mime".

This seminar - an introduction to the art of mime and movement theatre - will be held on April 11, 12 and 13 during a residential weekend at the Seminary, Tal-Virtù. It is made up of practical workshops on mime techniques and introductory short lectures on creativity as an essential dynamism of the human spirit.

Krysztof Najdowski will be leading this seminar, which is part of "Art, Culture and Spirituality", a programme offered by Kop-erattiva Kulturali Universitarja. It is organised with the support of the BOV Club and is open to the public.

For some of us the "artist inside" needs to be awakened and encouraged to voice original ideas, beliefs and genuine feelings. Often one needs to learn how to express itself better.

Najdowski runs an International Summer School of Theatrical Arts in Krakow, Poland, and also an Effective Communication Skills course in England. He is also developing and directing theatre productions based on the concept of movement theatre.

Both the training programmes and the theatre performances have been presented, in 12 European countries, in the US and Asia.

Further information can be obtained from Anna Catania at Koperattiva Kulturali Universitarja, University of Malta on 2340-3080.
