The Malta Shipyards have closed down, and with the enterprise a whole piece of Maltese history has also closed.

I appeal to the National Archives to take care of the company's archives and other memorabilia as they are part of our heritage.This should be done before the transfer and before they can be stolen.

The company is being liquidated so no documents should be transferred to the new company and the priceless archives should be given to the nation.
