The Gozo crossing

The Gozo ferry/helicopter service has hit the headlines quite a bit lately. There must be quite a few people with their fingers in the pie in this matter. If you have a spare helicopter I urge you to get in touch with them. And then an idea came to mind.

The Gozo ferry/helicopter service has hit the headlines quite a bit lately. There must be quite a few people with their fingers in the pie in this matter.

If you have a spare helicopter I urge you to get in touch with them. And then an idea came to mind. Why not build a bridge from Malta to Comino and another from Comino to Gozo? No, no that would be too logical for our experts (please don't laugh... it's wicked). And the ferry would have to be scuttled!

You see they want you to fly and spend Lm50 to cross the stretch of water. Or else use the ferry.

But even if it's not anything like building the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco (1,280 metres), who's going to build it? Our road-builders? Do me a favour!

Then suddenly I came to my senses and remembered Mater Dei... no, no, on second thoughts, forget what I said - let's use the ferry and be done with it.
