The International School of English (ISE) was set up in 1972 by the Ministry of Education, to provide English language courses for foreigners. The University took over the school in 1998, reinforcing its objective of providing foreigners with professional tuition of the English language.
Today, the ISE is managed by the Malta University Services (MUS). The University Campus is the venue for all courses offered and thus ISE is the only English language school in Malta that offers students campus life experience.
