7.30 p.m. The President meets the Birkirkara non-governmental organisations at the Carmelite Centre, Birkirkara.

10 a.m. The President is presented with a copy of a new publication entitled L-Icona, il-Vangelu bil-Kulur by Fr Thomas Calleja, OFM, at the Palace, Valletta.
10 a.m. Mrs Fenech Adami receives a courtesy visit from a group of retired teachers at San Anton Palace.
11 a.m. The President receives a courtesy visit from members of the Permanent Executive Bureau of the International Police Association (IPA) accompanied by the national executive committee (Malta) at the Palace, Valletta.
5.15 p.m. The President is interviewed by secondary school students for the TVM television programme Projectnews, at The Palace, Valletta.
6.30 p.m. The President presides over the launch of a book entitled The Making of Malta by Reuben Grima and Daniel Cilia at the Palace, Valletta.

7 p.m. The President and Mrs Fenech Adami preside over a musico-literary evening of works by Fra Joel Galea, at San Anton Palace.
