9 a.m. Ms Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee, at San Anton Palace.

10 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from members of the St Mary's and King George V Band Club, at the Palace, Valletta.

10.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the Deaf People Association president George Vella.

11.30 a.m. The President is presented with a book entitled Apap Cremona and St Paul's by Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci and Kenneth Mizzi.

5 p.m. The President and Ms Abela visit the premises of the Maltese Cross Corps at Guardamangia.

Wednesday

6.30 p.m. The President visits the Archbishop's Seminary at Tal-Virtu, Rabat.

Thursday

9 a.m. Ms Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee, at San Anton Palace.

10 a.m. The President receives students attending St Therese College and is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund, at the Palace, Valletta.

Friday

10.30 a.m. The President receives ambassadors accredited to Malta to exchange New Year's greetings at the Palace, Valletta.

3.30 p.m. The President is presented with a 20th anniversary publication entitled Mediterranean Perspectives of International Relations by Lourdes Pullicino and Prof. Stephen Calleya on behalf of the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies.

4 p.m. The President receives honorary consuls accredited to Malta to exchange New Year's greetings.

6 p.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the youth group Link Qormi, at San Anton Palace.

Saturday

6.30 p.m. The President and Ms Abela attend the 'Ġieh Għawdex' award cermony organised by Circolo Gozitano at Hotel Ta' Ċenċ, Gozo.
