Just weeks after completing a prestigious contract on the Saudi royal yacht, another legend is at the Malta Super Yacht Services facility.

Alexander, the third largest privately owned yacht in the world, is in Malta for an eight-day visit.

The late Greek shipping billionaire patriarch Yiannis Latsis bought the cruise ship in 1985 and converted it into a yacht, complete with two 10-metre Sunseekers, a ballroom, a cinema, a hospital, a beauty salon and a discotheque.

The yacht's guest list reads like a Who's Who, and includes the former king of Greece, Constantine, as well as England's Prince Charles (who was on board on different occasions with both the late Princess Diana and fiancée Camilla Parker Bowles).

The boat is perfect for entertaining on a grand scale: she can accommodate 60 guests in 41 cabins.
