A man was conditionally discharged for two years when he admitted to threatening and insulting a police sergeant at the St Julians police station a few months ago. Magistrate Saviour Demicoli heard Geoffrey Xuereb, 46 of Swieqi, plead guilty to threatening and insulting PS Joseph Pace and breaching the peace on June 24 at about 3 p.m.

The magistrate also fined Mr Xuereb Lm75. Police Inspector Carmelo Abdilla prosecuted.
