Three arrested in two separate drug busts
Police to press charges following cannabis and ecstasy finds
Two separate police investigations into drug importation and trafficking have led to the arrest of three men and the seizure of various drugs allegedly prepared for sale.
In the first case, two Italian men, aged 22 and 19, were arrested following a controlled delivery operation after police intercepted a suspicious parcel sent from Spain.
The package contained 1.5 kilograms of suspected cannabis resin. Subsequent searches at the residence where the two men were living uncovered additional suspected drugs and items allegedly linked to drug trafficking.
