Three Maltese artists – photographer Kurt Arrigo and painters Caroline Navarro and James Vella Clark – are taking part in this year’s edition of the Salon des Peintres et Sculpteurs de Saint-Tropez.

The artists were invited by the French artists’ association to exhibit because their works share the same affinity with the Mediterranean character.

The works reflect the harbour environment of Vittoriosa and St Tropez

Their works represent the spirit of the Maltese islands, reflecting the strong nautical element and the harbour environments shared by both Vittoriosa and St Tropez.

In 2012, the Embassy of Malta in France and the Malta Tourism Authority were instrumental in the signing of a twinning agreement between the ports of St Tropez and Vittoriosa.

The exhibition is showing at the Salle Jean Despas in Place des Lices. The artists are exhibiting five pieces each. Their participation was made possible thanks to the support of Express Trailers.
