Three COVID-19 patients died at Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, the Health Ministry announced on Wednesday.

They were two men, aged 83 and 90, who were both diagnosed with the virus on November 24, and a 90-year-old woman who was diagnosed on November 23.  

The virus death toll has now risen to 160.

Malta registered 79 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday.
