Three in hospital after two-car collision in Attard
11-year-old boy among those taken to hospital for medical treatment
Three people, including an 11-year old boy, were hospitalised on Tuesday after their cars were involved in a collision in Attard.
Police said the accident happened at around 1.30pm on Vjal l-Istadium Nazzjonali when a Honda Fit driven by a 51-year-old woman from Mtarfa was involved in a collisioj with a Renault Arkana driven by a 51-year-old man from Marsascala.
An 11-year-old boy , also from Marsascala, was a passenger in the Renault.
A medical team and ambulances were called on the scene all three were taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
The woman was certified as suffering from serious injuries, while the man sustained grievous injuries. The boy’s injuries are not yet know at time of writing.
Police investigations into the accident are ongoing.
