Three people have been injured in a shooting inside a US shopping mall.
Indianapolis police deputy chief of operations Brian Mahone said all three victims were taken to hospital and one is in a serious condition but expected to survive.
The other two do not have life-threatening injuries.
Mr Mahone said police do not have a suspect in custody.
The shooting happened inside the Washington Square Mall on the city's far east side.
Mr Mahone said the shooting was not random and the gunman and main victim knew each other. The other two people shot were nearby when the gunman opened fire.
The victims are young adults, two men and one woman.
