The Mediterranean Bank Network has drawn up a business plan for the next three years, highlighting the need to achieve representation by one representative bank in each Mediterranean country.

The plan was prepared by the secretary general under the auspices of the MBN presidency bank, Banco Sabadell of Spain. It was unanimously approved by the executive board members of the general assembly of the MBN, which includes the Bank of Valletta.

Particular attention will be given to the development of the MBN website and intranet so as to promote business networking opportunities, and to push for recruitment of banks from Egypt, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Cyprus and Lebanon.
