The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers.

Times of Malta leads with the leaked results of an opinion poll which shows that voters in Malta prefer Alex Borg over Adrian Delia to lead the Nationalist Party but Delia enjoys a slight edge over Borg among Nationalist voters, while Borg is the clear favourite among Labour voters.

Times of Malta and all the other newspapers also report how a 17-year-old was taken to court on Monday to face charges over the killing of a food courier in a traffic crash early on Sunday.

The Malta Independent also highlights the killing of a top reporter and other journalists in an Israeli strike in Gaza. 

In-Nazzjon says Caritas staff and residents will give a final farewell on Tuesday to Christian Vella, a staff member who died after helping many people in need.
