The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers on Friday.

Times of Malta leads with an article on how Maltese residents in the US say they fear being stopped by enforcement agents and deported from their adopted country, with some citing their appearance as a source of added vulnerability.

The newspaper also reports that Ħamrun Spartans president Joseph Portelli's bid to buy Siena Calcio has been turned down by the Italian Serie D club.
