The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers on Tuesday. 

Times of Malta leads with the latest developments in the Yorgen Fenech murder trial. A police sergeant told the trial that during a search of Keith Schembri's home, officers were told to seize only devices identified by Schembri himself.

The Malta Independent features the same main story. It also reports that the prime minister has full confidence in Energy Minister Miriam Dalli, despite the power cuts.

l-orizzont's focus is on a case instituted by former prime minister Joseph Muscat, demanding action against a foreign court expert in the Vitals case for allegedly lacking qualifications.  The newspaper also features tributes to the father and son killed in an accident at sea on Sunday.  

In-Nazzjon quotes shadow ministers saying Robert Abela is to blame for the power cuts, and the suffering of the people is real.
