The top stories in Malta's newspapers on Monday

The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers on Monday. The newspapers are, as expected, dominated by Labour's general election victory.

Times of Malta leads with a quote from Robert Abela that: "We made history," and reports that Labour won an unprecedented fourth term.

The Malta Independent says Labour won a record fourth term with a slashed majority.

l-orizzont also reports that Labour wrote history, saying it won with an absolute majority of 22,000 votes.

In-Nazzjon reports that Labour won the election but the PN reduced its majority by 18,000 votes and Alex Borg won the most votes.
