The Sunday Times of Malta reports that the fireworks factory in Salina which dramatically blew up on June 1 was not insured, despite a history of incidents. The newspaper also carries a climate expert's warning that weather conditions in the Mediterranean, including Malta, will get worse with climate change.

The Malta Independent says Sandra Gauci, leader of ADPD is considering legal action over the gender mechanism for parliamentary representation that has kept her out of parliament.
