The top stories in Malta's newspapers

The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers on Tuesday.

Times of Malta leads with the news from the Middle East that the US and Iran have reached a deal to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The newspaper also gives prominence to evidence given in the trial of a driver accused of having caused a motorcyclist's death through negligent driving. 

The Malta Independent features remarks by the head of the civil service that all ministries will have a project manager to monitor implementation of electoral promises. 

l-orizzont, on the same theme, quotes the prime minister telling the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development that the government has started to implement its electoral promises. 

In-Nazzjon gives prominence to concerns by the Chamber of Advocates that confidential conversations between lawyers and their clients at the prisons are being recorded. It also reports that a PN general council meeting has been postponed owing to the state opening of parliament.
